Recruitment Co-Ordinator - joined in August 2015

What does your role entail? What do you specifically enjoy about your role?

Working as a Recruitment Co-Ordinator, my role is all about filling store vacancies. It’s my job to raise vacancies, shortlist candidates, arrange interviews and then close-down the roles with excited new colleagues. There’s a lot of CV sifting which keeps me busy, especially as I look after the London vacancies, but the days go quickly and there’s always something to do. My favourite part of my role is getting to speak to my store managers – after looking after them for several years, we’ve built up amazing relationships and always enjoy a good natter before we get down to the nitty gritty.

What has been your greatest achievement whilst working at Holland & Barrett?

Whilst working in Recruitment, I’ve had awesome achievements such as being awarded Recruiter of the Quarter several times. This is awarded to the person who has hit their targets the most over the quarter and so to be awarded is a great reminder of all my hard work and what I have achieved.

What do you love about working for Holland & Barrett?

I love the people. I truly feel like my colleagues make my time at Holland and Barrett what it is; it wouldn’t be the same without them. From my immediate team, to the store managers, and the other departments we work with – everybody is warm, friendly and always there to help.

Which Holland & Barrett product is always on your shopping list?

Crispy Corn. I’m addicted. Though be warned – it’s very crunchy so would not recommend eating in a library.
