I lead our Retail Operations team - and in our team no two days are ever the same! We work with functions across our store support centre as the central point for anything Retail. We have a brilliant team of communication experts who launch everything to our store teams, from really exciting product launches to our fantastic colleague incentives and everything in between. The team might pop up in a store near you to get your views or film a new project so keep an eye out for them. Our team also look after all store activity to ensure any exciting changes are spaced out throughout the year to ensure they land right first time. Finally and most excitingly we have our H&B help team who are here to answer all your questions and give you support (particularly when your new and everything is a bit daunting) they are store experts so if you need advice on a range review, not sure where to order a lightbulb from or just need a bit of advice on how to cash up at the end of the day our team are here to help.

We recently launched a new retail communications team along with a new store intranet, our continued focus is to engage more of our colleagues and make things simpler for store teams. Our store intranet has gone from 60,000 logins a month to over 165,000 In the past year, and that trend continues to grow as we launch more exciting colleague videos and sneak peaks of new products. We’re also just about to launch our first internal colleague magazine, it looks amazing and will be a game changer for how you digest the latest news. Coming to an H&B store near you soon.

Our teams in store are incredible, the knowledge and genuine passion for helping our customers is unlike anything I have seen on the high street. The training is tough, but the end product is really something special and whether its help when I’m feeling a bit fatigued or I need a kick start to get healthy in January, I never struggle to get a great recommendation (to any of our teams reading this thank you!).
