Employer Branding and Social Media Lead (17132)

The Role:

This role sits within our global recruitment team that is responsible for hiring 3500 employees into the business every year. We are recruiting across the UK and Norther Ireland, and also in other countries supporting the global expansion. Recruitment team covers all business areas - retail, technology, commercial functions, helps to find talent for unique business & science roles, digital marketing and many more!

Key tasks:

  • You'll be the custodian of Holland & Barrett external employer brand, taking ownership of our image and reputation in the talent market. But it won't all be on you; you'll educate and inspire our internal recruiters, hiring managers and employees to sell our story in a clear, compelling and consistent way.
  • As our new Recruitment Marketing Manager, you'll ensure our roles are seen and heard in all the right places, from paid advertising on job boards to creating and curating engaging online content that promotes  Holland & Barrett as an attractive place to work.
  • You will plan and implement our Recruitment Marketing strategy across key marketing channels and be responsible for all activity across the following areas; careers site, job boards, social media, CRM, events and promotional collateral.

The role is based in our London Hub and we operate a flexible hybrid working policy.

The Person:

Skills and experience required:

  • At least 2 years experience in similar role in Retail or customer service industry with high recruitment volumes
  • Strong understanding of employer brand and recruitment marketing (either in-house or agency experience)
  • Ability to translate functional Recruitment needs into realistic attraction strategies and campaigns
  • Ability to define both channel & content strategies that reach both active and passive candidates
  • Ability to spot opportunities and recommend changes in strategic direction
  • Passion for creative storytelling
  • Experience in project management, data analysis, and performance reporting
  • Resilience and enthusiasm for delivering results under pressure
  • Ability to translate complex issues into clear, easy-to-understand language
  • The knack for getting the most out of what you have
  • Candidate first mindset
  • Willingness to learn and develop
