M&A/ Investments Associate (13937)

Location: London/Remote hybrid or Full Remote

The M&A / Investments Associate will support the Head of M&A / Investments in managing the end-to-end acquisitions / investments pipeline, transactions, and portfolio management

M&A / Investments Strategy

  • Support development of the M&A/ Investments Strategy
  • Work with the Strategy and Insights team to undertake research to inform the M&A/ Investments Strategy
  • Produce regular reports and updates for Executive reviews
  • Input and keep updated an assessment framework for categorising and evaluating potential targets
  • Supporting, monitoring and measuring the success of the execution of the strategy across the organisation

 Pipeline Development

  • Develop market intelligence and identify potential acquisition targets
  • Market mapping (globally), target identification and target CRM
  • Perform continued evaluation of potential acquisition targets (proactive or opportunistic)

 Relationship Building

  • Support the Head of M&A / Investments to build effective relationships with target companies
  • Manage internal stakeholders on progress of potential acquisitions / investments
  • Support to the investee portfolio companies
  • A steady drumbeat of external content to position H&B as a health and wellness commercial partner/acquirer/investor

 Pre and Post Deal Oversight

  • Internal coordination of the end-to-end process, timeline management, and preparation of internal updates
  • Coordinating/running non-financial Due Diligence, including operational, marketing, tech and people
  • Coordinate members of the deal team (internal team and advisors)
  • Post-transaction coordination and CRM, which will vary by transaction

Your Experience

  • Proven experience in end-to-end M&A/ Investments activity
  • Basic understanding of investment or M&A process and methodology
  • Commercial acumen - experience in VC/PE/banking / investment banking or through working on numerous investments or M&A Projects
  • Strong stakeholder management – comfortable holding relationships with internal and external clients
  • Action-oriented; hands-on; detail-focus; self-starter
