The Role

Exciting opportunity to be instrumental in driving the innovation pipeline for vitamins, herbals, minerals and supplements (VHMS) for Holland & Barrett the market leading wellness specialist. The purpose of this role is to lead the development and delivery of the global new product plans for Holland & Barrett's best tier own brand & owned brands in the Vitamins, Herbals, Minerals category. You will also partner with the category team to optimise the good, better and best range architecture that the best tier sits within. You will drive business performance by inspiring our customers to take positive control of their own wellness

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for delivering the financial targets for the own brand best tier and owned brands in the VHMS Category and achieving the target customer metrics (adoption & retention)
• You will work with the Head of Brand Management to translate consumer, trend and market insight into product innovation strategies and rolling 3-year npd plans
• You will ensure all product development delivers Holland & Barrett's brand purpose and is true to the brand visual identity (BVI)
• You will develop compelling product propositions based on strong consumer insight, competitor and market knowledge that will drive long term value
• You will work in partnership with the category to evaluate the commercial opportunity and gain business support for all projects
• You will lead the cross functional team to deliver each development from initial concept to finished product delivery, optimising all aspects of the customer proposition from product format to claims
• You will ensure all new products are delivered on time and within agreed budgets
• You will partner with the category and marketing teams to maximise BTL and ATL support at launch and throughout the product life cycle



The Person


You will be:

• Passionate about putting the customer at the heart of what we do and exceeding their expectations
• An outstanding communicator with strong influencing skills, comfortable presenting to all levels.
• Passionate about product with an innovation mindset - championing new ideas and opportunities
• A strong team player, adept at building effective relationships and stakeholder management
• Results driven with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality

You will ideally have:

• 5+ years FMCG brand/product management experience ideally within VHMS
• Experience in developing brand positioning, innovation strategies, three-year product plans & concepts
• End to end new product development experience from concept creation to shelf
• A track record of developing compelling product claims
