Warehouse Team Leader (14533)

The Role:
  • Ability to problem solve and deep dive.
  • Continuous improvement within all aspects of the department.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the warehouse. Full organisation of pallets and stock within the department.
  • Ensure all associates are working to set KPI's and achieving a high pick accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with head office partners daily and ensuring their priorities are met.
  • Ensure that high standards are met daily in all aspects of the role.
  • Work closely with warehouse admin roles
  • Plan, organise, co-ordinate and lead departmental activities to run an efficient and effective working environment that is customer and productivity focused.
  • Embrace and introduce new procedures, controls, and equipment technology. Be a change driver.
  • Be fully aligned to the Company's core values.
  • Be an assertive communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Possess the ability to work collaboratively with managers at all levels.
The Person:
  • Request disciplinary meetings as per company guidelines and instructions and discipline individuals as per company guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company procedures and policies.
  • Deal with confidential matters discretely.
  • Open to work with other departments within the business.
  • Identify training requirements of associates to allow them to carry out their roles effectively and efficiently.
  • Competent Microsoft skills – Excel, Word etc.
  • Health & Safety – IOSH Managing Safe
  • Competent AS400 knowledge.
  • Strong Resilience and ability to adapt to change is essential.
